Tinkerwell - A Laravel code editor / runner

For my personal development I don’t normally purchase software as it can expensive or there are free alternatives already that have all the features you need. One popular example of this would be Microsoft VSCode which I use all the time.

Tinkerwell is a code editor and runner that connects to existing PHP frameworks and systems such as Laravel, Symfony, Wordpress and Magento.

Why use Tinkerwell?

Yes I could use VSCode to write and run code but there are scenarios when I don’t want to add code in the main project such as test code to output results for a specific feature or a writing a PHP script that you will run once and never use again.

Another benefit of Tinkerwell is that you can setup to connect to your production codebases so you don’t even have to SSH to the server in order to debug a live website and you never have to remove your file changes back.

This isn’t free software so you will need to be pay to use it however it’s priced low enough to be affordable. You could pay once and use forever however you will miss out on updates after the one year, but you could re-purchase if there were updates you want to install. The price is $49 or £39 if you are in the UK.

If you want to go ahead with installing Tinkerwell then click the Buy Tinkerwell button, purchase a license and you will be sent a link to download and install the Tinkerwell app.
